Carrier Signature Reference Guide

Use this guide to quickly determine which carriers support a required signature upon delivery.

Carriers That Support Signature Required

• USPS
  Supports Signature Confirmation and Adult Signature on eligible services.

• UPS
  Supports Signature Required, Direct Signature, and Adult Signature.

• FedEx
  Supports Indirect Signature, Direct Signature, and Adult Signature.

• GLS US
  Signature may be available depending on the service and account settings.

Carriers That Do Not Support Signature Required

• Amazon Shipping
  Does not offer shipper-requested signature service.

• DHL eCommerce
  Does not offer signature-required service for standard eCommerce shipments.

• GOFO
  Does not support signature confirmation.

• Passport
  Does not support signature-required service directly. Delivery depends on the last-mile carrier.

• TikTok Shipping
  Does not offer a signature-required option.

• UniUni
  Does not support signature confirmation.

Recommended Use

If a customer requests a required signature upon delivery, use one of the following carriers when available:

1. UPS

2. FedEx

3. USPS

4. GLS US, if enabled

Avoid using Amazon Shipping, DHL eCommerce, GOFO, Passport, TikTok Shipping, or UniUni for orders where signature is required.

Important Note

Once an order has already been fulfilled, shipped, or scanned into a container, the carrier usually cannot be changed. If the customer requires a different carrier with signature required, the order may need to be reshipped if the original shipment is returned or cannot be delivered.
